Financial Margin

Prepping for this week’s message at the Middlebury Campus on financial margin…ran across this thought from Craig Groeschel…great point…

Proverbs 21:20 In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has.

Notice what is interesting to me about this verse, the Bible does not say in the house of the wealthy is margin. The Bible doesn’t say in the home of the two income family is more than enough. The Bible doesn’t say in the home of the six figure income are stores of choice food and oil. But, the Bible says in the house of the wise there is more than enough, in the house of the wise. There is a wise way to manage the money that God entrusts to us, and there is a foolish way to manage what God entrusts to us.
